Hi, I’m Kerry Dutton, a Registered Psychologist based in Erina on the Central Coast, offering both in-person therapy and online psychology services Australia-wide.

I bring 14 years of clinical experience and almost two decades of supporting people through workplace injuries, adjustment, and recovery from trauma and mental health challenges.

My approach is compassionate and grounded in trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming, and evidence-based care. I draw on a range of therapeutic models, including CBT, ACT, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing-but more importantly, I take the time to understand what matters to you. Together, we’ll work at your pace, focusing on what feels safe, manageable, and meaningful to you in the context of your life.

I work with adults and have a special interest in:

My therapeutic approach is trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming, and evidence-based.

But more than that, I prioritise creating a space where you feel safe, heard, and understood.

Many of the people I work with come to therapy feeling:

  • Exhausted from masking or people-pleasing

  • Stuck in cycles of burnout, sensory overload, or emotional shutdown

  • Overwhelmed by workplace stress, injury recovery, or chronic pain

  • Anxious in social situations, constantly overthinking conversations, avoiding social situations or feeling emotionally drained after socialising.

  • Impacted by past trauma, whether from single events or complex experiences

  • Curious about exploring their neurotype, including ADHD or Autism, whether they’re seeking a formal diagnosis or just wanting to understand themselves better and access ongoing support.

Many of the people I support are living with the emotional impact of trauma, prolonged stress, sensory overload, burnout, or masking-often without having the language for it until much later in life. Whether you’re wanting to explore your neurotype, navigating chronic pain, anxiety or recovering from a workplace injury, my goal is to offer a respectful, validating space where you can feel seen and supported.

As someone with lived experience of late-identified neurodivergence, I understand how powerful it can be to finally make sense of yourself through a lens of understanding rather than shame. I have a particular interest in working with adults who’ve internalised their struggles, developed strong coping or masking strategies, or whose experiences may have been overlooked, especially females or those assigned female at birth (AFAB). I offer both diagnostic assessment and ongoing therapeutic support, always through a strengths-based lens that honours your unique way of being.

You're the expert in your own life -I'm here to walk alongside you as we work together to create space for clarity, self-compassion, and meaningful change.
