Meet Kerry - Psychologist | Trauma-Informed |Erina & Telehealth Australia-Wide
I’m Kerry (she/her), a Registered Psychologist with 14 years of clinical experience, a deep commitment to creating a safe, respectful space for adults exploring anxiety, trauma, life changes, workplace injuries, burnout, ADHD and Autism.
Many of the people I work with have spent years holding it all together on the outside, while feeling lost, exhausted, or unsure why life feels so hard. My work is grounded in the belief that you don’t need to be “fixed.” You just need to be understood.
I have a particular interest in supporting late-diagnosed women and AFAB adults, especially those with internalised or high-masking presentations who may have been overlooked, misdiagnosed, or dismissed. My approach is warm, affirming, and trauma-informed. I believe in taking things at your pace and working together to make sense of your story.
I’ve also spent nearly two decades supporting people through complex mental health, chronic pain, and workplace injuries. I understand the challenges that come with recovery, not just physically but emotionally and practically - and bring a calm, experienced approach to help clients feel supported every step of the way.
When I’m not working, I find joy in slow mornings, long breakfasts, and quiet rituals that create a sense of calm. I love weekend getaways, scenic hikes, and time in nature. These moments help keep me grounded so I can show up fully for the people I support.
Whether you’re seeking answers, space to reflect, or support in understanding your neurotype, I’m here to walk alongside you with clarity, kindness, and care.
A Safe Space for Internalised Presentations
Many of my clients have spent years feeling different, anxious, exhausted or misunderstood, especially in social settings, workplaces, or relationships. You might have learned to "mask" to fit in, to cope, or to keep things from falling apart.
Internalised presentations can mean you look like you're managing, while inside, it’s another story. You might be burnt out, emotionally exhausted, constantly second-guessing yourself or wondering why everything feels so much harder than it should.
You're not alone. You're not imagining it. And you don't have to figure it all out by yourself.
Therapy & Assessment That Works With Your Brain, Not Against It
I take a collaborative and compassionate approach that adapts to you. I draw on evidence-based modalities like CBT, ACT, Solution-Focused Therapy and Motivational Interviewing- but more importantly, I tailor everything to support your strengths, needs and goals.
All assessments and therapy sessions are designed to feel supportive, respectful, and empowering - whether you're in the room with me at Erina or connecting via telehealth.
