Is it ADHD? Autism? Both? You don’t need to have the answer before you reach out
Many adults spend years feeling different, exhausted, or emotionally overwhelmed without knowing why.
You may relate to:
Struggling with focus, memory, or starting things
Sensory sensitivity, burnout, or overstimulation
Feeling “too much” or “not enough” in social situations
A need for control, order, and downtime
Years of masking, people-pleasing, or pushing through
Being misdiagnosed—or never considered at all
You don’t need to fit neatly in a box to start understanding yourself.
A neuroaffirming Adult-Focused AssessmentWe offer a safe, structured, and supportive process to explore both ADHD and Autism, especially for those with high-masking or internalised traits.
Here’s what to Expect:

Your ADHD + Autism Assessment begins with a comprehensive intake interview designed to explore your background, experiences and current challenges in a calm and supportive environment. during this session, we’ll talk about your history, strengths, daily routines and how ADHD and Autistic traits may show up in different areas of your life - at work, home and in relationships.
Clinical Diagnostic Interviews (4.5 hours)
Conducted in-person or via Telehealth, these 2 sessions explore your developmental background, current symptoms, and daily challenges.

Conducted in-person or via Telehealth, this appointment utilises the DIVA-5 to help explore your past and current challenges.Clinical Interview 2: Autism - 3 hours

We’ll meet to discuss the results in a clear, compassionate way. You’ll receive guidance, personalised suggestions, and time to ask questions.
A comprehensive report is provided within 4–6 weeks after your feedback session.
While we are qualified to diagnose autism and our reports are valid, please note that our autism assessments may not be suitable for NDIS funding applications as NDIS currently require evidence by a ‘specialist multi-disciplinary team, psychiatrist or clinical psychologist’.

Why Choose Elara Psychology Clinic? Insight, compassion and care, for people who’ve been missed.
We understand what it’s like to spend years working twice as hard to appear fine, only to still feel like you’re falling behind.
At Elara Psychology Clinic, we bring 15 years of clinical experience and a deep understanding of how ADHD and Autism often show up in adults who mask, quietly cope and experience burnout.
Kerry has undertaken extensive training in recognising internalised, and high-masking presentations—the kind that are often missed or misunderstood, especially in women and AFAB adults. Many of the people we work with have been misdiagnosed, overlooked, or never considered at all.
Kerry works with adults who:
Feel different but have never had the words for it
Are exhausted from social interactions, even when they “seem fine”
Have spent years masking or adapting to meet the expectations of others
Are ready to explore their neurotype with clarity, kindness, and no pressure
You’ll be met with:
Clinical expertise grounded in compassion
A strong focus on high-masking and internalised presentations
A trauma-informed, neuro-affirming approach that values your lived experience
