NON-DIAGNOSTIC • 2 HOUR SESSIONExplore Your Neurotype
Not a diagnostic assessment - a supported space to understand how your mind works
If you're not ready for a formal assessment, or not sure whether one is the right next step, this two-hour session offers a supported, educational space to begin exploring your neurotype. Using validated questionnaires, we'll look at ADHD and Autistic traits, masking patterns, sensory profile and executive functioning, with verbal feedback and personalised recommendations..
This is not a diagnostic assessment. Results are used to support self-understanding and are not equivalent to a formal clinical diagnosis.

OPTIONAL ADD-ONPersonalised Neurotype Summary
Wondering whether you could be autistic, have ADHD, or both, but unsure whether you want a formal diagnosis? After your Explore Your Neurotype consultation, you can choose to receive a 3–4 page written summary to help you make sense of what we discussed and put practical ideas into action.
Your summary brings together your questionnaire results, the traits and patterns you described, and how these may show up in everyday life. It includes personalised recommendations for areas such as sensory needs, communication, energy, executive functioning and managing overwhelm, tailored to what matters most to you.
You can use it as a reference for your own self-understanding or to help explain your needs to people you choose to share it with. This is a non-diagnostic summary: it does not confirm or rule out ADHD or autism, and it is not a formal assessment report.

NON-DIAGNOSTIC • NO APPOINTMENT REQUIREDADHD & Autism Pre-Assessment Screening for Adults
A gentle first step when you’re wondering, but not ready for a full assessment
Perhaps you’ve started recognising ADHD or autistic traits in yourself. Maybe a child, partner or friend has been diagnosed and it has brought up questions about your own experiences. Or you’ve spent years managing behind the scenes while appearing to cope on the outside.
You don’t need to be certain, and you don’t need to commit to a diagnostic assessment to start exploring those questions.
Pre-assessment screening gives you a lower-cost way to take a first look. You’ll complete online questionnaires about ADHD and autistic traits including masking and Kerry will review your responses alongside the background information you provide. You can then choose whether you’d prefer written feedback only or an appointment to talk through the results.
Choose the starting point that suits you
ONLINE SCREENING
$250
Questionnaires: Complete online in your own time
Feedback: Brief personalised email from Kerry
Best suited to: You want an initial indication of whether further assessment may be worth considering
SCREENING + CONSULTATION
$450
Questionnaires: Complete online before your appointment
Feedback: 45 minute telehealth appointment with Kerry, plus a brief written summary of next steps
Best suited to: You want to ask questions, add context and talk through what the results might mean for you.
Online screening — $250
Complete the questionnaires in your own time, with no appointment required. Kerry will review your responses alongside the background information you provide and send you a brief personalised email. This will explain what the screening results suggest, their limitations, and whether a full ADHD, autism or combined assessment may be worth considering.
Screening + consultation — $450
Complete the questionnaires before a 45 minute telehealth appointment with Kerry. You’ll discuss the results in the context of your experiences, ask questions and consider whether a formal assessment would be useful. Afterwards, you’ll receive a brief written summary of the next steps discussed.
This option can be particularly helpful if you mask or feel that questionnaires don’t tell the whole story. You might appear organised or socially confident, for example, while spending considerable time preparing, rehearsing, pushing through or recovering afterwards. The appointment gives you space to talk about the effort behind what others see.
Who is pre-assessment screening for?
Screening may be a useful first step if you:
Wonder whether ADHD, autism or both could be relevant to your experiences
Have started asking questions after a child, partner or friend was diagnosed
Relate to masking, sensory overwhelm, burnout or lifelong feelings of being different
Want professional guidance before deciding whether to invest in a full assessment
Would prefer to explore one step at a time
You do not need to be certain about what you’re experiencing before getting in touch.
What happens after screening?
Kerry will let you know whether the information available suggests that further assessment may be useful. You might decide to pursue an ADHD, autism or combined assessment, take time to reflect, or leave things there for now. There is no expectation that you continue.
If you book a full assessment with Elara Psychology Clinic within 28 days of receiving your screening feedback, $250 of your screening fee will be credited towards your assessment. This applies to both screening options.
Want more time to explore?
If you’re looking for a longer conversation about how your mind works and practical ways to support yourself, Explore Your Neurotype may be a better fit. This two-hour consultation offers more space to discuss your experiences, strengths, support needs and personalised strategies. It is also non-diagnostic.
Important to know
Screening questionnaires are a starting point. They cannot confirm or rule out ADHD or autism, and a low score does not necessarily capture the experiences of someone who has learned to mask or compensate.
Pre-assessment screening does not provide a diagnosis or diagnostic report. The feedback is for your own information and cannot be used as formal documentation for medication, NDIS access, or workplace or university adjustments.
