A pre-assessment screening consists of validated self-report questionnaires commonly used within adult ADHD and Autism Assessment pathways.
What a Pre-Assessment Screening Involves:
Screening tools are one component of a broader diagnostic process. On their own, they cannot confirm or exclude a diagnosis. They provide preliminary clinical information based on your self report.
How The Process Works:
Step 1: Consent and Payment
Send an email to info@elarapsychologyclinic.com.au to advise you wish to go ahead with this service.
You will be emailed consent forms and payment information.
Step 2: Online Questionnaires
Once consent is submitted and payment of $230 is processed, you will be sent a series of screening questionnaires relevant to ADHD and Autism. These are completed independently by you online. No appointment is required.
Step 3: Clinical Review
Your responses are reviewed by myself, a registered psychologist with experience in adult ADHD and Autism presentations, including those with high-masking traits.
Step 4: Written Feedback
You will receive a brief written summary* outlining whether the screening results indicate that a comprehensive diagnostic assessment may be clinically appropriate
*This written feedback is not a diagnostic report and does not constitute a diagnosis. It also does not guarantee a diagnosis as the outcome of the assessment.
